I ran into this bug as well. The work-around was to manually change the paths in the EFI/BOOT/grub.cfg from /images/pxeboot to /syslinux. I found that from an older report on this issue at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=851220#c0. The liveusb-creator currently only supports Live images. The netinst or DVD might not work properly. The tool should either reject unsupported ISO's or add support for them. Note that livecd-iso-to-disk supports boot.iso and dvd, you can use it as an example of what needs to be done.
