Taking - UnversionedDocDir issues.

Besides this, this package seems to suffer from bit rot with its maintainer possibly having gone AWOL.

I am the AWOL maintainer.  I was out of the country when the bug was reported last August.  I tried working on this back when the package policy change happened, but couldn't make heads or tails of it.  Thanks for taking this on Ralf, and fixing the bit rot as well.
