Okay so apparently this is due to setlocale-0.0.3 being Public Domain and the original author being from Germany (where there is no Public Domain) and he also seems to be uncontactable. https://lists.debian.org/debian-haskell/2014/07/msg00007.html Sven Bartscher also informed us that the upstream location is: http://pkg-haskell.alioth.debian.org/setlocale/ . ghc-setlocale-1.0.0-1.fc21 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 21. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/ghc-setlocale-1.0.0-1.fc21 Package ghc-setlocale-1.0.0-1.fc21: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 21 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing ghc-setlocale-1.0.0-1.fc21' as soon as you are able to.
