Description of problem: During boot of Fedora Core 2 test1, I was getting messages relating to /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor. Someone suggested checking out the /etc/cpuspeed.conf. (RFE #1: Shouldn't this file be called /etc/cpufreq.conf and the service called cpufreq? I don't see why the terms cpuspeed and cpufreq are intermixed.) I don't recall the default now, but I have an Athlon 64 3400+, so I changed it to powernow-k8 (using no options). (RF@ #2: During install, if we detect an AMD64, can we change the default module?)
