I have discussed the situation with polymake upstream. Perl 5.22 made a number of changes that are not compatible with some of polymake's internal structures. Upstream is working on the problem, but has warned me that the perl 5.22 changes are so extensive that it could take awhile to come up with a working solution. In the meantime, since polymake is broken, packages that BR it (namely gap-pkg-polymaking and Singular) are also broken, which leads to general sagemath brokenness. Fun for the whole family! I will post here as I receive updates from upstream. This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 23 development cycle. Changing version to '23'. (As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 23 development cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 23 End Of Life. Thank you.)
