Description Guido Berhoerster 2015-08-19 08:43:43 UTC
After updating to Owncloud 7.0.7 it is no longer possible to log in, Owncloud only returns an HTTP internal server error. Upon investigation this turns out to be an incompatibility with PHP 5.3 in the address book code introduced with the latest release. This has already been fixed upstream, see https://github.com/owncloud/contacts/issues/981

Thanks for the report, I'll fix it up ASAP in the morning.

I've done a build for this now, but Bodhi is down for the Bodhi 2.0 migration. You can get the build for testing here:

thanks again for reporting this.

The update for this seems to have entirely disappeared from Bodhi. I'll try and resubmit it.

Created attachment 1071390 [details]
patch from the upstream bug

We have one more incompatibility to resolve. See https://github.com/owncloud/core/issues/17313

After applying patch https://github.com/owncloud/core/commit/bc5368f9be9d750e1752cd57e5a5407936324a14.patch (also attached) update actually works (the best is cd /usr/share/owncloud ; php ./occ upgrade )
