Description Francesco Frassinelli (frafra) 2016-01-04 14:40:30 UTC
Bug #1282825 "update keepassx to 2.0.0 (was: KeePassX 2.0 is coming!)" was created in the 18th of November 2015. KeePassX 2.0 was relased the 7th of December 2015. Spec patch for 2.0 (with a successful koji build) is ready since the 23th of December 2015. I requested ACLs the 27th of December 2015.

No response from maintainers. Opening this bug according to:

Francesco, I would rather email devel mailing. This goes back to the same person who is non-responsive.

This is what I am going to do, as prescribed by the policy, on Monday the 18th, if I get no response before. I prefer not to ask to devel ml before that date: maybe they are on vacation and they just need to go thought a bunch of mail.

"4. After 2 failed attempts (2 weeks of no response from the maintainer), the reporter posts to the Fedora devel list with a link to the bug report and asks if anyone knows how to contact the maintainer."

Comment 3 Aurelien Bompard 2016-01-07 14:48:25 UTC
Hi Francesco,
Sorry for not responding, I thought I had orphaned this package a while ago. Apparently I didn't. I'll approve your ACLs request asap.

Comment 4 Francesco Frassinelli (frafra) 2016-01-09 11:25:38 UTC
Hi Aurelien,
thanks for ACLs. Make me admin if you want.

gbailey

Comment 5 Francesco Frassinelli (frafra) 2016-01-09 11:26:44 UTC
Ops, wrong paste.
I assigned this bug to gbailey because he's in charge for EPEL packages.

Comment 6 Greg Bailey 2016-01-09 16:07:13 UTC
Hi Francesco,

I assumed that Aurelien's ACL update would have included EPEL... I added you as a committer for EPEL 6 and EPEL 7.

I then tried to add you as an admin for all the branches (Fedora and EPEL), and received an error message stating that I'm not allowed to modify ACLs for someone else but it appears you're an admin anyway... Can you check and see if you have what you need?

Thank you Greg.

I'm admin for EPEL, not for Fedora. I assume that Aurelien should eventually give me admin permissions and add me as main contact. It's not a priority for me, because now I have ACLs and I updated KeePassX to 2.0.0 (many people were waiting for it - we reached karma +4 in few hours), but if you want to share responsibility/work or step down (Aurelien said he thought he orphaned this package) I'm here.

Closing this bug because every maintainer replied and bug #1282825 is ON_QA
