Description Adam Williamson 2016-08-23 04:03:33 UTC
root was retired due to lack of systemd conversion, then unretired and converted to systemd. However, the update didn't make it before the Alpha freeze and is still in u-t:

https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2016-a030fc61dc

root-gui-fitpanel is included in the scientific_kde spin, so that spin currently fails to compose due to this package being unavailable, see e.g.:

https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org//work/tasks/3458/15343458/anaconda-anaconda.log

thus I'm filing this bug and nominating it as an FE to allow us to push the update stable and fix the scientific_kde spin.

It's very self-contained (doesn't affect any release-blocking media), so I'm going to vote +1 FE.

Comment 2 Kevin Fenzi 2016-08-23 16:07:02 UTC
+1 FE

Comment 3 Dennis Gilmore 2016-08-23 16:08:30 UTC
+1 FE

Comment 4 Adam Williamson 2016-08-23 16:13:51 UTC
that's +4, setting accepted.

Comment 5 Adam Williamson 2016-08-27 01:04:35 UTC
The update has gone stable.
