Description
Upstream Release Monitoring
2016-09-07 00:31:10 UTC
Patching or scratch build for paperkey-1.3 failed. Created attachment 1198462 [details] Rebase-helper rebase-helper-debug.log log file. See for details and report the eventual error to rebase-helper https://github.com/phracek/rebase-helper/issues. Patches were not touched. All were applied properly The 1.4 update doesn't have any changes that warrant an update, IMO.
Here is the ChangeLog:

> Found by Thierry Ambrus.
>
> * README: Clarify output-width a bit.

> (sorry: macOS!) universal binary stuff.
Other than the small change to the README file, the changes aren't applicable.
fale's paperkey-1.4-1.fc26 completed http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=798171 paperkey-1.4-1.fc23 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 23. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2016-40be0c228c paperkey-1.4-1.el6 has been submitted as an update to Fedora EPEL 6. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2016-0f9137b10a paperkey-1.4-1.fc24 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 24. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2016-ca67ae1f3a paperkey-1.4-1.fc25 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 25. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2016-0a64bf8ce8 paperkey-1.4-1.el7 has been submitted as an update to Fedora EPEL 7. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2016-28d1b23270 paperkey-1.4-1.el5 has been submitted as an update to Fedora EPEL 5. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2016-36b617734c Why was this update needed at all, let alone for EPEL releases back to EL5? That seems like a waste of resources and needless churn. The only change in the packages is an extra sentence in the README file. At most, I could see building this for rawhide (which I did locally last night while reading the changelog and determining that an update was pointless). As a user or Fedora and EPEL I don't think updates just to increase the version number are useful. As a sysadmin and contributor, I think they waste valuable resources. Sorry, I missed your comment #4. I agree on the fact that this update does not bring huge changes but it's also true that does not bring uncompatible-changes. The reason why I updated it is for the absence of uncompatible changes. Probably we have moved from two different positions (update when need, update if it does not break anything) and for this reason we reached different conclusions. As said, I'm again sorry for having missed your comment. In case I would have read it, I would have commented here before actually pushing updates and we would have compared our POV without packages already pushed. paperkey-1.4-1.el5 has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 5 testing repository.
