Description Petr Pisar 2016-10-11 17:03:57 UTC
perl-Crypt-OpenSSL-X509-1.807-1.fc26 fails to build in F26:

gcc -c  -I/usr/include/openssl -I/usr/local/include/ssl -I/usr/local/ssl/include -D_REENTRANT -D_GNU_SOURCE -O2 -g -pipe -Wall -Werror=format-security -Wp,-D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 -fexceptions -fstack-protector-strong --param=ssp-buffer-size=4 -grecord-gcc-switches -m32 -march=i686 -mtune=atom -fasynchronous-unwind-tables -fwrapv -fno-strict-aliasing -I/usr/local/include -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -g   -DVERSION=\"1.807\" -DXS_VERSION=\"1.807\" -fPIC "-I/usr/lib/perl5/CORE"   X509.c
X509.xs: In function '_decode_netscape':
X509.xs:217:5: error: unknown type name 'NETSCAPE_X509'
     NETSCAPE_X509 nx;

This is caused by upgrading openssl from 1:1.0.2j-1.fc26 to 1:1.1.0b-1.fc26.

Upstream prepared fix that's almost perfect. I sent him the missing piece. I will apply it to Fedora.
