Does anyone here know what is causing the crash? Is it a particular .repo file? Is it crashing all the time or just sometimes?

Looks like it's packagekitd aborting on startup because of:

packagekitd[1345]: You need to register this system by running `rhn_register` before using this option

or

packagekitd[1329]: This system is not yet registered. Try 'subscription-manager register --help' for more information.
