Description of problem:

repstopdf always return the following error:

$ repstopdf --outfile=img/001_what_is_rt-eps-converted-to.pdf img/001_what_is_rt.eps
epstopdf ($Id: epstopdf.pl 41287 2016-05-28 18:09:45Z karl $) 2.24
!!! Error: Option forbidden in restricted mode: --device

Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to convert an eps to pdf - like, the most basic feature!

Actual results:
epstopdf ($Id: epstopdf.pl 41287 2016-05-28 18:09:45Z karl $) 2.24
!!! Error: Option forbidden in restricted mode: --device

Expected results:
Converting the eps to pdf.

Additional info:
The latest version works fine. I got it from here:
ftp://ctan.tug.org/tex-archive/support/epstopdf/epstopdf.pl
and substituted the file provided with the package.

Easy! that is the second time I file BZ against texlive, the first was not fixed...

Same problem, and updating the script to the one from CTAN works as a fix.

Specifically:
  replace /usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/scripts/epstopdf/epstopdf.pl
  with http://mirrors.ctan.org/support/epstopdf/epstopdf.pl
