[patch] Update to 1.4 (#1422291)
hotness's scratch build of picard-1.4-1.el7.src.rpm for rawhide failed http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=17869843 Bump to this, after 2 years Picard really needed a refresh. Ping? Latest upstream release: 1.4.1 Current version/release in rawhide: 1.3.2-7.fc26 URL: http://picard.musicbrainz.org/ Please consult the package updates policy before you issue an update to a stable branch: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Updates_Policy More information about the service that created this bug can be found at: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Upstream_release_monitoring Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made. Specifically, please remember that it is your responsibility to review the new version to ensure that the licensing is still correct and that no non-free or legally problematic items have been added upstream. [patch] Update to 1.4.1 (#1422291)
hotness's scratch build of picard-1.4.1-1.el7.src.rpm for rawhide failed http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=18724262 I went ahead and created my own rpm. The failure is caused by the removal of all plugins from the .tar.gz I simply commented out any reference to them. They also added a high res .svg version of the icon. Fixing the package takes 3 minutes, if we don't take into account the removal of the plugins. Created attachment 1270428 [details]
patch picard's spec file
Just removed anything related to plugins.
They have been remove from the tar file upstream and should probably be managed differently now. In the meantime this got me going.
