Description Artem S. Tashkinov 2017-03-28 07:12:23 UTC
This version of OpenVPN fails with this message when trying to establish a VPN connection directly (i.e. _without_ using NetworkManager-openvpn):

localhost.localdomain openvpn[2162]: Options error: --writepid fails with '/var/run/openvpn/vpn.pid': No such file or directory
localhost.localdomain openvpn[2162]: Options error: Please correct these errors.

/var/run contains only openvpn-client and openvpn-server directories.

This looks like a bug in the OpenVPN systemd initialization file.

Please fix ASAP.
