Description Peter Robinson 2017-06-27 21:13:00 UTC
The dependency should be on python3 not python2 it brings in an entire stack that's not default.

The "python dependency is, unfortunately, correct, it's needed by the latex-access Contraction." should be split out into a sub package or it should use python3 because python3 is the default python stack in Fedora releases.

Update is out for f26, but the build dies with a java segfault on ppc64le.

Comment 4 Peter Robinson 2017-07-11 13:54:59 UTC
Adding Power64 tracking bug so the POWER team are aware of the issue

Comment 5 Dan HorĂ¡k 2017-07-11 14:07:33 UTC
the segfault could be the recent IFUNC issue with glibc 2.26 vs gcc (https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@lists.fedoraproject.org/message/UJDC6JZEXME2SWGEIAXAU6SE7RP5N3RH/)
