Description Adam Williamson 2017-08-15 05:23:42 UTC
Description of problem:
Happened in normal system use after the 'map' permission was introduced.
SELinux is preventing gnome-shell from 'map' accesses on the file /etc/udev/hwdb.bin.

***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests **************************

If you believe that gnome-shell should be allowed map access on the hwdb.bin file by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
Do
allow this access for now by executing:
# ausearch -c 'gnome-shell' --raw | audit2allow -M my-gnomeshell
# semodule -X 300 -i my-gnomeshell.pp

Description of problem:
Happened during normal system use. Note, happens even with selinux-policy 3.13.1-272 (with the initial set of 'map' permission fixes).
