Description of problem:

I'm trying to install f27 workstation with virt-manager running on my two "old"machines, one is f26 host on hp Z200 workstation, the other is
f23 host on hp xw9400 workstation.
after the installation is completed, the virt-machine failed to boot,
just hang there, please see the attached video for more information, thanks.

Not sure if this is the right place for the report, please feel free to reassign,
or ask me to provide other information needed.

Fyi:
The server.iso works well, the VM can boot successfully.
Both workstation.iso and server.iso work fine on my new laptop:T460s.

Comment 4 lnie 2017-09-13 03:11:09 UTC
The latest 2017.9.12 still doesn't work, and the hang occurs several times on my new laptop, seems likely when the laptop is busy.

Comment 7 lnie 2017-09-15 13:01:21 UTC
The screencast and journal is from the VM running on my new laptap

Comment 8 lnie 2017-09-20 05:33:43 UTC
Reassigning to plymouth,as omitting "rhgb" dose solve the problem.
Maybe this is not plymouth's fault, please reassign accordingly, thanks.

Comment 9 Fedora Blocker Bugs Application 2017-09-20 09:16:04 UTC
Proposed as a Blocker for 27-beta by Fedora user lnie using the blocker tracking app because:

This looks like a blocker to me,it affects the Beta_Release_Criteria :
All release-blocking images must boot in their supported configurations.

Comment 10 Kamil Páral 2017-09-20 12:55:26 UTC
If removing rhgb fixes the issue, I'm pretty sure this is a dupe of bug 1462381.
