If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. See https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing for instructions on how to install test updates. You can provide feedback for this update here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2017-aa9927961f Proposed as a Blocker for 27-final by Fedora user labbott using the blocker tracking app because: This contains a fix for CVE-2017-5123 kernel: Missing access_ok() checks in waitid() . This was written up in LWN and the reproducer is fairly simple so this should really go in under the security criteria. The criterion for Final is "The release must contain no known security bugs of 'important' or higher impact according to the Red Hat severity classification scale which cannot be satisfactorily resolved by a package update (e.g. issues during installation)." Do we have an impact assessment for this? If it's 'important' or higher, +1 blocker. Otherwise, +1 FE. kernel-4.13.8-200.fc26 has been pushed to the Fedora 26 testing repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. See https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing for instructions on how to install test updates. You can provide feedback for this update here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2017-c110ac0eb1 kernel-4.13.8-100.fc25 has been pushed to the Fedora 25 testing repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. See https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing for instructions on how to install test updates. You can provide feedback for this update here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2017-cafcdbdde5 Discussed during the 2017-10-23 blocker review meeting: [1] The decision to classify this bug as an AcceptedBlocker was made as it violates the following blocker criteria: "The release must contain no known security bugs of 'important' or higher impact according to the Red Hat severity classification scale which cannot be satisfactorily resolved by a package update (e.g. issues during installation)."
