Comment 4 Artem S. Tashkinov 2018-11-14 18:08:22 UTC
Could we have another maintainer for this package in Fedora? It hasn't been updated for almost a year.

Comment 5 Artem S. Tashkinov 2018-11-14 18:11:17 UTC
Actually, disregard my words because Eugene actually pushed 0.18.12 to Rawhide months ago: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/quiterss/c/834d62f5dcc6d23bb4991775a22d7e9cf749a49b

Now I'm curious why it's taking so long to push it to F29.

Comment 6 Artem S. Tashkinov 2018-11-14 18:12:47 UTC
A new build for F29 has long been ready: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=1152641

Now I'm really curious what's going on.

Comment 7 Artem S. Tashkinov 2018-12-27 17:05:20 UTC
Also please compile against Qt5. This application works better with the new version of the toolkit.

Comment 8 Ben Cotton 2019-10-31 20:15:18 UTC
This message is a reminder that Fedora 29 is nearing its end of life.
Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 29 on 2019-11-26.
It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer
maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a
Fedora 'version' of '29'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version'
to a later Fedora version.

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were not
able to fix it before Fedora 29 is end of life. If you would still like
to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version
of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora
version prior this bug is closed as described in the policy above.

Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's
lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a
more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes
bugs or makes them obsolete.

Comment 9 Artem S. Tashkinov 2019-10-31 22:51:48 UTC
QuiteRSS is now the latest release in Fedora 31.

Comment 14 Christian Stadelmann 2019-12-04 00:07:15 UTC
This issue is still present.

@Ti.Eugene: Can you please enable automatic updates using Anitya? Or at least enable update notifications?

Comment 15 Eugene A. Pivnev 2019-12-10 11:01:26 UTC
Current QuiteRSS (in repos) is 0.18.12.
Bug was about updating 0.18.8 to 0.18.9.
"Also please compile against Qt5" must be another feature request (and in progress).
