"/var/log/journal/4dc0f9... default label should be var_log_t." and yet... ↪ secon --file /var/log/journal/4dc0f9aba562414390042ed94c9427fb user: system_u role: object_r type: var_log_t sensitivity: s0 clearance: s0 mls-range: s0 The file is already in the context that SELinux Troubleshooter says it should be. So why does it keep reporting this non-problem? selinux-policy was updated a couple weeks ago, and I haven't noticed the Troubleshooter complain about journal file in a while. So either you guys fixed it or the problem went away on its own because magic :) Or maybe not? Troubleshooter has resumed daily warnings about this exact issue again. (Currently on selinux-policy-3.13.1-283.28.fc27) selinux-policy-3.13.1-284.37.fc27 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 27. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2018-4bb4de2d86 selinux-policy-3.13.1-284.37.fc27 has been pushed to the Fedora 27 testing repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. See https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing for instructions on how to install test updates.
