Latest squid available for Fedora is squid-4.0.23-2.fc27, but 4.0.24 had been available for a long time before F28 came out.

Had compiled squid 4.0.24 and successfully used it in F27, but have been unable to compile either of the squid versions 4.0.24 and 4.0.25 on F28.

Would appreciate at least version 4.0.24 being made available for F28.

Hi Nivag,

I've already compiled 4.0.24 for F28 and 29, but forgot to set up new update in bodhi. I will rebase squid to 4.0.25 today and create new update.

Thanks Luboš!

Saw it it in bodhi when it was a mere 3 minutes old after just happening to check my email (I manually check email about half-a-dozen times a day, when it suites me), and downloaded it.

Fastest resolution I've ever had for any bug/enhancement!!!

I am testing 4.0.25 for the Squid-Cache project and there are couple specific points which I will check on my build and test nodes.
I am testing rhel and CentOS but not Fedora since it wasn't stable enough for me to work with.

There is a possibility that in about a month from now 4.1 will be out.

Comment 7 Luboš Uhliarik 2018-06-29 09:59:52 UTC
Eliezer thanks for update! Looking forward 4.1 :)
