Logs
[ Error ] binary /usr/bin/pydoc3 has no man page! [ Error ] binary /usr/bin/pydoc3.6 has no man page! and [ Error ] binary /usr/bin/python3.6m has no man page! and [ Error ] binary /usr/bin/pyvenv has no man page! [ Error ] binary /usr/bin/pyvenv-3.6 has no man page! (also note that the pyvenv script is deprecated) I think that if we really want to have manpages for pydoc and pyvenv, that should be brought upstream. For python3.6m, maybe we can symblink the python3.6 one? This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 29 development cycle. Changing version to '29'. We should add the link from python3.6m to python3.6. The others aren't important enough to have man pages. Patrik, it would be nice if you kept this on your radar. It's still low priority though. Patrik fixed this in https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python3/pull-request/106 I've built it in rawhide. IMHO it's not worth to actively backport the change. Thanks Patrik. I've also made sure the change landed in python38 as well. https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python38/c/084a366e3d465801793c881800b016a776ba7c68?branch=master python3-3.7.3-3.fc30 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 30. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2019-1ffd6b6064 python3-3.7.3-3.fc29 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 29. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2019-ec26883852 python3-3.7.3-3.fc30 has been pushed to the Fedora 30 testing repository.
