Description Sketch 2018-11-16 18:22:27 UTC
Description of problem:

Warning in syslog:
Nov 16 11:39:43 myhostname systemd: Configuration file /usr/lib/systemd/system/incrond.service is marked executable. Please remove executable permission bits. Proceeding anyway.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

incron-0.5.10-8.el7.x86_64

How reproducible:

systemctl start incron

Steps to Reproduce:
1. yum install incron
2. systemctl start incron

Actual results:

incron works, but systemd logs a warning at startup.

Expected results:

No warning when starting incron.

Additional info:

Obviously I can just change the permissions myself and the error goes away, but then rpm -V incron reports changed files, so it would be better if it was fixed in the package.

This was fixed in the Fedora package a few years ago, but never made it's way to the epel7 package. ;(

I'm going to sync up the two, which should fix this and also update to the latest version.
