Description
Upstream Release Monitoring
2019-03-31 22:01:41 UTC
I see that minetest was turned into (?) a module... however, the module seems to be 5.0.0 and not 5.0.1. https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/minetest/blob/5/f/minetest.spec Is it possible to update? It'd be nice to have the latest version available in Fedora... Latest upstream release: 5.1.0 Current version/release in rawhide: 0.4.17.1-5.fc31 URL: https://github.com/minetest/minetest Please consult the package updates policy before you issue an update to a stable branch: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Updates_Policy More information about the service that created this bug can be found at: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Upstream_release_monitoring Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made. Specifically, please remember that it is your responsibility to review the new version to ensure that the licensing is still correct and that no non-free or legally problematic items have been added upstream. Based on the information from anitya: https://release-monitoring.org/project/1978/ The following Sources of the specfile are not valid URLs so we cannot automatically build the new version for you. Please use URLs in your Source declarations if possible. - minetest.desktop - minetest@.service - minetest.rsyslog - minetest.logrotate - minetest.README - default.conf Hi! What are your plans regarding minetest? The module is broken on f31, and 5.x is available. Where did you build the module from? If you'd like to see it continue I can help fix it but otherwise I think we should go to 5.x on f32+. And I have the changes ready on my side, tested, etc. Ping? I want to try to change minetest back to a regular package. I'll provide an update soon I'll submit a PR for 5.1.0, you can use that if you like. FEDORA-MODULAR-2019-44e78ce21d has been submitted as an update to Fedora 31 Modular. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-MODULAR-2019-44e78ce21d minetest-5-3120191217165623.f636be4b has been pushed to the Fedora 31 Modular testing repository.
