Please fix sediment at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,

The problems appears to be caused by the incompatible change in sphinx 1.8.0b2 listed on http://www.sphinx-doc.org/en/master/changes.html

Need to figure out how to adjust the doc/Makefile.am to handle the machine generated subdirectories.

It appears that there are a number of packages listed in https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Sphinx2
switching to sphinx2. There might be one in there that would have a good example of how to handle the machine generated directories.

Fixed in sediment-0.9.1-5.fc31 and now successfully built for rawhide.
