Commenting on my own package: New spec/srpm are needed to reflect new package names for itcl and itk: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=174265 This package should also be renamed "iwidgets" to match upstream. New package that works with the updated itcl/itk packages: http://www.kobold.org/~wart/fedora/iwidgets.spec http://www.kobold.org/~wart/fedora/iwidgets-4.0.1-3.src.rpm This update uses the proper "iwidgets" name to match upstream. I also cleaned up the Requires: list and manually install all files since the patch to the configure script + Makefile was excessively large. Good: - rpmlint clean - package meets naming guidelines - package meets packaging guidelines - license (BSD) OK, text in %doc, matches source - spec file legible, in am. english - source matches upstream - package compiles on FC4 i386 - no missing BR - no unnecessary BR - no locales - not relocatable - owns all directories that it creates - no duplicate files - permissions ok - %clean ok - macro use consistent - code, not content - no need for -docs - nothing in %doc affects runtime - no need for .desktop file APPROVED Imported and built on devel.
