Description of problem:
On Firefox Wayland, extensions in the toolbar overflow menu fail to open their "window". Instead, the overflow menu drop-down disappears while the drop-down menu button appears to be still active, but the drop-down menu can no longer be seen or opened in the current Firefox window.

How reproducible:
Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run Firefox Wayland on GNOME shell Wayland
2. Have extension(s) in the toolbar overflow menu
3. Try to open extension window from toolbar overflow menu by clicking on it
Actual results:
Extension "window" does not open, and the overflow menu drop-down can no longer be opened in current Firefox window.
Expected results:
Extension "window" opens to manage its configuration.
Additional info:
Issue not present with X11 backend.
Issue is present in official Mozilla Nightly binary.
