A difference between passing and failing build root is at <https://koschei.fedoraproject.org/build/7720030>. An upgrade of mariadb-server from 3:10.3.21-3.fc32 to 3:10.4.11-1.fc32 looks supsicious.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 32 development cycle.
Changing version to 32.

Comment 2 Fedora Release Engineering 2020-02-16 04:34:09 UTC
Dear Maintainer,

your package has not been built successfully in 32. Action is required from you.

If you can fix your package to build, perform a build in koji, and either create
an update in bodhi, or close this bug without creating an update, if updating is
not appropriate [1]. If you are working on a fix, set the status to ASSIGNED to
acknowledge this. Following the latest policy for such packages [2], your package
will be orphaned if this bug remains in NEW state more than 8 weeks.

A week before the mass branching of Fedora 33 according to the schedule [3],
any packages not successfully rebuilt at least on Fedora 31 will be
retired regardless of the status of this bug.

Comment 4 Michal Schorm 2020-03-03 12:20:44 UTC
May be related to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1796106 ?
It's a new issue related to MariaDB 10.4, which was introduced in F32.
We are working on a solution, currently in dialogue with the MariaDB upstream.

If you'd spot it may be the same issue, feel free to link that this BZ is block by that BZ.

Comment 5 Dominic Hopf 2020-03-07 22:44:10 UTC
Seems you're right Michal. I'll disable the test for mysqld for now as it's not essential for Rex to work properly.
