Description Fedora Release Engineering 2020-02-06 16:37:23 UTC
flashrom failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide/f32

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=41317167

For details on the mass rebuild see:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_32_Mass_Rebuild
Please fix flashrom at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
flashrom will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 33,
flashrom will be retired, if it still fails to build.

Comment 4 Alex G. 2020-02-11 01:35:11 UTC
I spoke to the flashrom upstream about this. There was a problem with the source, so they made a new release yesterday. I should get that pushed within the next few days.

Comment 5 Robert Scheck 2020-02-11 01:36:53 UTC
IMHO a new flashrom release desires a separate bug report.

Comment 6 Alex G. 2020-02-11 01:41:50 UTC
In general, I would agree. In this case, David made a release specifically to address this problem.

Comment 7 Ben Cotton 2020-02-11 16:31:57 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 32 development cycle.
Changing version to 32.
