Description Igor Raits 2020-05-06 17:22:27 UTC
Hello,

Your package (vim-syntastic) Fails To Install in Fedora 33:

---
can't install vim-syntastic-vhdl-3.10.0-4.fc32.noarch:
  - nothing provides freehdl needed by vim-syntastic-vhdl-3.10.0-4.fc32.noarch
---

According to a policy for FTBFS/FTI bugs (https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Fails_to_build_from_source_Fails_to_install/), your package may be orphaned in 8+ weeks if you won't reply to this bug.

The data was generated from koji buildroot, so it might be a bit newer than latest rawhide compose.

If this is caused by updating one of packages and not rebuilding others yet, consider using side tags: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/rawhide-gating/multi-builds/

Thanks!

I dropped the subpackage. If anyone cares, please provide proper fix.
I plan to concentrate on packaging vim-ale soon.

But yeah, what a policy ... to drop whole package because one of the
dozens of sub-packages isn't installable.
