Description Vladimir Zhelezov 2020-05-29 07:07:38 UTC
Description of problem:

Trying to start the atop.service I got the following errors:

atop.service: Failed to load environment files: No such file or directory
atop.service: Failed to run 'start-pre' task: No such file or directory
atop.service: Failed with result 'resources'.
Failed to start Atop advanced performance monitor.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

atop-2.5.0-2.fc32

Additional info:

Looking at /usr/lib/systemd/system/atop.service we see that the environment is loaded from /etc/default/atop while the package installs it in /etc/sysconfig/atop. Changing the service file to point to the latter fixes the issue. Or maybe the maintainers would prefer moving the file from /etc/sysconfig to /etc/default? Either should fix it.
