FEDORA-2020-1360b0ae9a has been submitted as an update to Fedora 33. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-1360b0ae9a FEDORA-2020-1360b0ae9a has been pushed to the Fedora 33 testing repository. In short time you'll be able to install the update with the following command: `sudo dnf upgrade --enablerepo=updates-testing --advisory=FEDORA-2020-1360b0ae9a` You can provide feedback for this update here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-1360b0ae9a See also https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing for more information on how to test updates. I can see that IO-Socket-IP-0.41 moved from ExtUtils::MakeMaker to Module::Build. I feel this will make problems, because IO::Socket::IP is a dual-lived package and needs to be built very early on Perl bootstrap, but Module::Build is not a core package and thus not available in the early stage of bootstrapping. I recommend Fedora to supply a home-made Makefile.PL for perl-IO-Socket-IP and use that instead of Build.PL. (In reply to Petr Pisar from comment #3) > I can see that IO-Socket-IP-0.41 moved from ExtUtils::MakeMaker to > Module::Build. I recommend Fedora to supply a home-made Makefile.PL > for perl-IO-Socket-IP and use that instead of Build.PL. Good catch. I'll create Makefile.PL.
