This is caused by a bug in cppcheck, which is already fixed upstream, but the fix not in rawhide yet. Since there hasn't been a new release of cppcheck with the fix yet, I opened a PR to add the fix as a patch: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/cppcheck/pull-request/8 Is running static code analysis during build relevant? It's not crucial, but it's better to double-check in case Fedora's cppcheck finds something that the upstream CI doesn't (rawhide usually has much more recent cppcheck than the CI). And it helps discover false positives like in this case :) This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 34 development cycle. Changing version to 34. FEDORA-2021-8483700999 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 34. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2021-8483700999 FEDORA-2021-a51c0106f6 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 32. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2021-a51c0106f6 FEDORA-2021-f0e6810501 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 33. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2021-f0e6810501 FEDORA-2021-8483700999 has been pushed to the Fedora 34 testing repository. Soon you'll be able to install the update with the following command: `sudo dnf upgrade --enablerepo=updates-testing --advisory=FEDORA-2021-8483700999` You can provide feedback for this update here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2021-8483700999 See also https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing for more information on how to test updates. FEDORA-2021-8483700999 has been pushed to the Fedora 34 stable repository. If problem still persists, please make note of it in this bug report. |
