Comment 9 Christian Heimes 2021-02-17 07:02:04 UTC
I'm skipping release 3.4.6. It only updates binary wheels to OpenSSL 1.1.1j and contains no additional changes.

Comment 10 Fedora Update System 2021-03-01 14:00:22 UTC
FEDORA-2021-08b9c4e2b9 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 34. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2021-08b9c4e2b9

Comment 11 Fabian Affolter 2021-03-03 10:08:59 UTC
Not shipping updates of broadly used packages doesn't play nice with the dependency generator as their are dependencies which have version constrains.

Comment 12 Christian Heimes 2021-03-03 12:12:06 UTC
Updating python-cryptography is not trivial, because the process involves two packages and sidetag builds. I usually skip binary-only updates because they contain no code change and are irrelevant for Linux distros.

Comment 15 Christian Heimes 2021-03-03 13:25:47 UTC
Something went wrong with F34 update FEDORA-2021-08b9c4e2b9. Looks like it took too long to push the update and some tags went missing during branching. I have created Rawhide and F34 updates to 3.4.6.

Please do not rely on the fact that the latest release of cryptography will be available. I'm still going to skip binary updates by default or cherry-pick security fixes to older versions.

Comment 16 Fedora Update System 2021-03-03 15:47:52 UTC
