Description Andre Robatino 2021-02-17 04:44:40 UTC
Description of problem:
In F34, I can't open the Settings window - I get the following error:

Gtk.BuilderError: /usr/share/gnome-shell/extensions/openweather-extension/weather-settings.ui:15:39 Invalid property: GtkWindow.window_position

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gnome-shell-extension-openweather-1-0.46.20200531git7a9236a.fc34.noarch

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Attempt to open Settings.

Actual results:
Window comes up that says "Something's gone wrong" with the above stack trace under "Technical Details".

Expected results:
Should be able to run Settings. Without it, the extension is useless unless one lives in Vaiaku, Tuvalu. There may be a way to set the Settings non-graphically but I don't know how.

Additional info:
Works fine in F33.

Comment 1 Andre Robatino 2021-02-21 09:43:42 UTC
Noticed there's a GitLab ticket for this issue:

https://gitlab.com/jenslody/gnome-shell-extension-openweather/-/issues/290

Comment 2 Andre Robatino 2021-05-13 04:58:20 UTC
The issue is now fixed upstream - the GitLab ticket is closed and the new extension is available at extensions.gnome.org.
