Description marianne@tuxette.fr 2021-04-16 13:47:20 UTC
Hello,

I'm maintening fusioninventory-agent and a sub-package need perl-Archive-Extract to run. (cf https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1944381 )

Is it possible to build it for EPEL 8 ?
I can help maintain it if needed

Regards

I can't do this because perl-Archive-Extract 0.80 is included in the base OS release, in the Code Ready Builder (RHEL) / PowerTools (CentOS) repository.

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL#How_can_I_use_these_extra_packages.3F

Packages that are in those repositories are not eligible for EPEL, you'll have to use the ones provided in the OS instead.

So package isn't in CRB, checked in list of packages.
