sigul failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide/f36

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=81986533

For details on the mass rebuild see:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_36_Mass_Rebuild
Please fix sigul at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
sigul will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 37,
sigul will be retired, if it still fails to build.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 36 development cycle.
Changing version to 36.

Comment 5 Miro Hrončok 2022-08-02 11:09:19 UTC
This package has Python 3.10 bytecode in it:

/usr/share/sigul/__pycache__/bind_methods.cpython-310.pyc
/usr/share/sigul/__pycache__/client.cpython-310.pyc
/usr/share/sigul/__pycache__/double_tls.cpython-310.pyc
/usr/share/sigul/__pycache__/errors.cpython-310.pyc
/usr/share/sigul/__pycache__/settings.cpython-310.pyc
/usr/share/sigul/__pycache__/utils.cpython-310.pyc
/usr/share/sigul/__pycache__/bridge.cpython-310.pyc
/usr/share/sigul/__pycache__/server.cpython-310.pyc
/usr/share/sigul/__pycache__/server_add_admin.cpython-310.pyc
/usr/share/sigul/__pycache__/server_common.cpython-310.pyc
/usr/share/sigul/__pycache__/server_create_db.cpython-310.pyc
/usr/share/sigul/__pycache__/server_gpg.cpython-310.pyc

Hence blocking the Python 3.11 tracker.

Could you please rebuild it at least on rawhide to regenerate the bytecode?

Comment 6 Kevin Fenzi 2022-08-02 14:33:33 UTC
Nope, it will not build due to python-nss. I am waiting for a upstream re-write which will hopfully land soon.

Comment 7 Miro Hrončok 2023-01-18 14:24:31 UTC
Attempting a build with python-nss:
