Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 36-final by Fedora user lnie using the blocker tracking app because: seems affects: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_36_Final_Release_Criteria#Default_application_functionality I don't see the crash shown in the screencast, but I can confirm search for local videos does not work for me. That being said, I can't make it work for me on my F35 system either (totem-3.38.2-1.fc35.x86_64). I'm going to nominate this as a blocker under the criteria from comment 2. Proposed as a Blocker for 36-final by Fedora user nielsenb using the blocker tracking app because: "All applications installed by default" must meet the [default application functionality criteria](https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_36_Final_Release_Criteria#Default_application_functionality). -4 blocker / +6 FE in https://pagure.io/fedora-qa/blocker-review/issue/793 , marking rejected blocker, accepted FE. What do "tracker3 search www" and "grl-launch-0.3 search www grl-tracker3-source" show? My guess is that the problem is https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/tracker/-/issues/362 which totem (or grilo) can't fix by themselves. It's also what happens on my system.
