Builds fine in rawhide.

Comment 9 Matt Domsch 2009-11-23 15:25:06 UTC
Sorry, no. The interesting message during build is:

"It appears you have cpu throttling enabled, which makes timings unreliable, and an ATLAS install nonsensical. Aborting."

So, depending on the load the current system doing the build is under, and other environmental concerns, the build may or may not fail at any given time.

Please remove this test in the ATLAS build.

This test is part of ATLAS build process, and it really means what is says above about the ATLAS install being a nonsense with cpu throttling. Therefore I cannot remove the test now.

Fortunately (or rather coincidentally), the koji environment does not have this cpu throttling enabled, thus we're good with the official builds.

I do run '/usr/bin/cpufreq-selector -g performance' before building atlas on my local system, and I'm sure you don't want me to put that in the spec file.

However, there are work going on in the upstream ATLAS developmental release that may make the issue go away in near future. Until then, I will close this at NOTABUG as it (always) builds fine in koji.
