I think that pulseaudio has some serious problem with Empathy.
It could be related with: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=577634

This bug appears to have been filled using a buggy version of ABRT, because
it contains a backtrace which is a duplicate of backtrace from bug #544757.
