Description Rex Dieter 2011-12-31 14:30:15 UTC
After upgrading/downgrading between 4.7 and 4.8 a couple of times now, I've seen on both occasions that powerdevil behaves poorly in 4.8 initially, at least until I go into its settings, to set/verify things, and to essentially force the configuration to get saved once. Then, it all seems to work smoothly.

Symptoms include:
no action lid close
screen blanking at odd times
screen brightness not working as expected

Comment 1 Rex Dieter 2012-01-05 15:18:57 UTC
Found related upstream http://bugs.kde.org/289760 about the 'no action on lid close' issue...

Comment 2 Lukáš Tinkl 2012-02-07 15:28:18 UTC
Will investigate more

Comment 3 Rex Dieter 2012-06-13 13:20:49 UTC
I can no longer reproduce this... closing.
