Description Dennis Gilmore 2013-03-23 00:03:49 UTC
Support for the ARM 64 bit CPU architecture (aarch64) was introduced in
autoconf 2.69. asc appears to use an earlier version of
autoconf, preventing its being built. This can be fixed in of three ways (In order of preference):

1. Work with upstream to migrate the package to autoconf 2.69.

2. Rerun autoconf or autoreconf in %prep or %build prior to running
configure.

3. Apply the patch at http://ausil.fedorapeople.org/aarch64/asc/asc-aarch64.patch
which updates config.guess and config.sub to recognize aarch64.

Thanks for the report, a build fixing this is on its way to F-18+ now.

Note I'm also pushing the fix to F-18 since it has other fixes too, which we do want for F-18.

BTW, I fixed this using 2. I mailed upstream asking them to do 1 with their next release. but it may be a while till the next release.
