Description Dennis Gilmore 2013-03-23 00:42:10 UTC
Support for the ARM 64 bit CPU architecture (aarch64) was introduced in
autoconf 2.69. gtkglextmm appears to use an earlier version of
autoconf, preventing its being built. This can be fixed in of three ways (In order of preference):

1. Work with upstream to migrate the package to autoconf 2.69.

2. Rerun autoconf or autoreconf in %prep or %build prior to running
configure.

3. Apply the patch at http://ausil.fedorapeople.org/aarch64/gtkglextmm/gtkglextmm-aarch64.patch
which updates config.guess and config.sub to recognize aarch64.

This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component.

Comment 2 Miro Hrončok 2013-05-19 23:24:44 UTC
1. Latest upstream release is from 2006, so I don't even try this one

2. Can you please give me a hand with this? Because simply calling autoreconf ends with:

./configure: line 16548: syntax error near unexpected token `as_fn_error'
./configure: line 16548: `AL_PROG_GNU_M4(as_fn_error $? "SUN m4 does not work for building gtkmm.'

And calling autoconf doesn't update config.guess or config.sub at all.

I can apply your patch, but solving 2. seems as a better aproach.
