Description Dennis Gilmore 2013-03-23 00:53:49 UTC
Support for the ARM 64 bit CPU architecture (aarch64) was introduced in
autoconf 2.69. libbtctl appears to use an earlier version of
autoconf, preventing its being built. This can be fixed in of three ways (In order of preference):

1. Work with upstream to migrate the package to autoconf 2.69.

2. Rerun autoconf or autoreconf in %prep or %build prior to running
configure.

3. Apply the patch at http://ausil.fedorapeople.org/aarch64/libbtctl/libbtctl-aarch64.patch
which updates config.guess and config.sub to recognize aarch64.

Can you please provide me a link to build.log and root.log from Koji? Where can
I try to build some scratch build on ARM 64 bit arch to test if the package
builds on it? Is arm-koji enough? Thank you.

Comment 2 Dennis Gilmore 2013-03-25 17:16:53 UTC
there is no arm64 hardware yet, we are bringing up the hardware slowly, we scripted a run to identify packages with potential issues, the only way to check is that aarch64 is present in the autoconf files.
