| libaudclient is no longer included with Audacious because it is tied to the
| older dbus-glib library. However, existing copies of libaudclient will still
| work with Audacious 3.5.

That means "audtty" cannot be built for Audacious 3.5.

audtty version 0.1.12 was released on February 28th 2010.

Update here:

* "conky", the only other libaudclient API user, has been rebuilt without support for Audacious.

* I've not looked into what it would take to extract libaudclient from Audacious 3.4.3 and build it separately. It could be a lot of overhead, especially when it's not known how long it would continue to work.

For existing projects that are still using it, libaudclient is now available as a separate download.

Hi Michael.

audtty is crashing with the libaudclient-3.5-rc2 library. At the moment I have no spare time to troubleshoot that. The package is currently marked as dead.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 22 development cycle.
Changing version to '22'.

At least 3 packages: conky , audtty (bug #1090654) and mp3splt-gtk [1] needs this libaudclient , so I think we should have it, If it is an argument Debian also have libaudclient :)
