valgrind output

On armv7hl rawhide (minimal 20140620 compose on a panda), running valgrind on the simplest C program produces 1054 errors, mostly in ld.so. Output attached.

Comment 1 Paul Moore 2014-08-06 20:03:36 UTC
Can someone with access to an arm system generate a valgrind suppressions file for the simple C program?

 valgrind --gen-suppressions=all ...

Comment 2 Mark Wielaard 2014-08-28 17:30:57 UTC
Sorry this took so long. I didn't have access to an arm setup with latest glibc. I submitted a patch upstream:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=338615

I'll create new packages for rawhide and f21 soon.

Comment 3 Paul Moore 2014-08-28 22:22:53 UTC
Any chance you can create a valgrind supression file? While an upstream fix is great, and the right solution, a supression entry will allow us to workaround this for older versions.

Comment 4 Mark Wielaard 2014-08-28 22:25:41 UTC
No, I don't think so. A newer glibc just means using a newer valgrind.
I'll push the fix into the f21/rawhide package tomorrow.
