I'll add my comments here.  Been looking into this build failure, and it looks like Qt4 support is officially deprecated, see:
http://trac.subsurface-divelog.org/ticket/821

Good news is that they provide a patch to allow building with Qt4 anyway, I'll try that first.


Long-term, will investigate how best to provide a Qt5 marble library that subsurface needs.
