I'm unable to move maps in gnome-maps on Fedora 25, even the 'grabbing hand' cursor is not shown. Scrolling (zooming the map) doesn't work as well. Using keyboard (arrows and +/-) does nothing too. 

The cursor is not redrawn properly when moved onto map canvas, e.g. when I try to resize window (to get appropriate mouse cursor) and then I move cursor to the map canvas, it doesn't redraw and the cursor is still show as resizing.

Other UI interaction works as expected (satellite view, searching, navigation).

Tested both on bare metal and in virtual machine.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run gnome-maps on F25
2. Try to move the map or zoom it

Actual results:
Maps cannot be moved or zoomed with mouse/keyboard

Expected results:
Maps can be moved or zoomed with mouse/keyboard

Reproduced as well. Proposing as a blocker:
"All applications that can be launched using the standard graphical mechanism of a release-blocking desktop after a default installation of that desktop must start successfully and withstand a basic functionality test. "

This can be easily tested on the Live image without installation. If I switch to X11, it works.

Does not work for me on Wayland or X, in a qemu-kvm (qxl driver) virt-manager VM.

I think this may be down to Wayland; it works for me on my desktop (which is using X) but not in a clean F25 live image (which is using Wayland).

Baremetal live media (no install): mouse/trackpad does nothing on Wayland, works as expected on Xorg.

Discussed during the 2016-08-22 blocker review meeting: [1]

The decision to classify this bug as an AcceptedBlocker was made as it is a clear violation of  the "Basic Functionality" final criteria, "All applications that can be launched using the standard graphical mechanism of a release-blocking desktop after a default installation of that desktop must start successfully and withstand a basic functionality test."
