Often I get error 
An internal error occurred during: "Initializing PHP Tooling".
Could not initialize class org.apache.lucene.codecs.Codec$Holder
Whenever I open Eclipse for the first time. Every time I get the error I have to close and re-open Eclipse again.

Are you running the rh-eclipse46 version of Eclipse (from RH SCL 2.3) ?

If so, you should see this in your eclipse.ini:

-Dosgi.framework.extensions=org.eclipse.wst.jsdt.nashorn.extension

Does that appear there? Does removing it fix the nashorn/jsdt problem?

One more thing I have noticed while trying to launch Eclipse market place it returns and error. As per community instruction I need to uncheck Socks in manual network settings. However it seems readonly I cannot check or uncheck anything in network settings at all.

Maybe it is not related to Javascript editor bug, although I wanted to let you know.

I even tried to uninstall and reinstall Eclipse. Current installation eclipse-pde-4.6.2-3.fc25.x86_64

Hmm, what version of webtools do you have installed?

$ rpm -qa | grep eclipse-webtools

After entering

rpm -qa | grep eclipse-webtools

it didn't give me anything in return.
So I installed

eclipse-webtools*

And after that everything is working fine. It seems during uninstall and reinstall webtools don't get installed.
It's working find. Please close the bug.
