One or more of the specfile's Sources is not a valid URL so we cannot automatically build the new version for you. Please use a URL in your Source declarations if possible.

Comment 5 Robert Scheck 2018-10-24 23:35:00 UTC
Is there any specific reason that Rawhide hasn't been bumped to bird 2.0.2?

Shouldn't bird-doc package have a "noarch" architecture?

Comment 9 Robert Scheck 2018-11-14 13:55:09 UTC
And shouldn't bird obsolete bird6 (and provide the old version)?

Comment 10 Stanislav Kozina 2018-11-19 13:34:22 UTC
Thanks, both bird-doc.noarch and Obsoletes: bird6 sound like good ideas. Updated build:

Robert, can you please elaborate further on what do you mean by providing old version? I'm not sure I fully understand. Thank you!

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Upgrade_paths_%E2%80%94_renaming_or_splitting_packages - for example (at least the obsoletes, optionally the provides):

Obsoletes: bird6 < 2.0.2-1
Provides: bird6 = %{version}-%{release}

Comment 12 Stanislav Kozina 2018-11-20 21:00:02 UTC
Thanks for the details Robert! Updated build with both Obosoletes and Provides:
